Central House - Harrogate

Heatworks have been long associated with the installation and maintenance of the HVAC system at Central House. As part of the continued refurbishment of Central House, in 2021 Heatworks were commissioned as principal contractor to provide a new ventilation, heat recovery, heating and cooling to the new Cafe, Meeting Rooms, Main Entrance and Reception area.

Heatworks BIM department worked closely with the Electrical contractor and Architect to coordinate services eliminating clashes prior to installation on site prior.

New Daikin Applied air handling units complete with heat recovery wheel, was installed to serve the new layout, with fresh air ductwork distributed to the rear of the VRV indoor units or to supply diffusers, and exhaust air removed from the space via return air grilles.

Throughout the installation parts of the building were occupied and had to be carried out in phased works or out of hours.
